Not only can you change the type of header style, you can also change the Site Branding and Menu top header area as well. This is where the site title, main menu, and the social icon menu is located. You get three choices; the one you pick could be dependent on how many menu links you plan to have, or how large your site title (or logo) is.
Of course, the background photo is only if you decide to use that header style, but the site branding header will still be there whether you use the featured image background or the gradient backgrounds.
- Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Basic Settings
- Look for the “Site Header Layout Style” setting and choose
- Click “Save & Publish“
