An introduction to the Front Page template

This theme includes a custom front page template so that you can move the blog further into your website while you build an alternative front page. Although this template is not loaded with a ton of layout options, it does give you some common elements built into it that you can enable or disable. Here is a screenshot showcasing the template:

You do not have to use all sections of this template; you pick and choose what you want. Currently, the sections are:

  • Call to Action
  • Image Boxes
  • Blog Posts

With exception to the blog section, the rest of the items are created from within the customizer.

Call to Action

This is the section that has a button to the right:

Image Boxes

Image boxes use a background image that you can upload and then add a title, intro, and a button to link to anything you want. These are more of just a visual display to navigate to anything you want. Image dimensions used for each box are: 360×500 pixels
