Typit Pro offers an About Me widget, sometimes referred to as an Author widget, that includes a photo, title, and introduction text.
Normally these kinds of widgets will also include a set of social icon links, but we decided to move them into their own widget. The reason for this is that many people use a separate social links plugin that often has their own widget, so we left this out.
- Go to Appearance >> Widgets
- Drag a “Typit About Me” widget into the sidebar position you want, such as the blog sidebar.
- Fill out the information, including the upload of a photo. The photo size is recommended to be at most 300px in width.
- Click “Save & Publish“
