Hi Adriana,
I was informed by Ramsey about your issues of the import and errors. He sent me a couple screenshots, and one with the fatal error relating to Jetpack looks like it’s something about Jetpack. However, with the other screenshot showing the demo import, I’m going to setup a fresh install of WordPress on my local computer and try a demo import to see how it goes and will follow up with you here.
I couldn’t see it in the screenshot, but do you have WooCommerce installed?

Quick follow up…I just created a new WordPress install on my local test, then installed the Marjoram Pro theme, then installed and activated the recommended plugins, followed by doing the import.
Everything worked on my test without any errors. The only exception is that I had to re-assign the menus to their prospective menu locations and set the slider category setting to the “Featured” category in the customizer.
If you decide to try again, here is my recommendation:
1. disable all plugins
2. delete all your posts, pages, comments, menus, etc. ONLY if it’s DEMO CONTENT.
3. Then try importing again.I’m not sure if you already had content in your website, but for importing the demo, it’s recommended it goes into an empty site setup. Once done, then you can add in anything new and extra, such as plugins, etc.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the demo import recommended plugins are installed and “Active” before importing. Also, make sure that your jetpack is disabled for the import, but most importantly, if you had the Widget Visibility module in Jetpack enabled, this might conflict with the JP Visibility plugin. You have a couple choices here:
1. forget about using the JP Visibility plugin if you want to use the Jetpack’s Widget Visibility module (feature).
2. If you use the JP visibility plugin, then disable the jetpack widget visibility.I do have one more recommendation. The JP Widget visibility plugin and the Remove Widget Titles plugin have not been updated in over 2 years now. A possible alternative for you to consider is the Widget Options plugin. This has everything built into it, hide your widget title, show your widget on your choice of pages, add class styles to a widget, and more.
One final note if you decide to start over here. If you had content such as pages, posts, etc before importing, “do not delete that”. Otherwise, you lose everything you had. This is why it’s noted that when doing a demo import, it’s strongly recommended you do this on an empty website.
