      Hi, Andre! 🙂
So I have been trying to create a page with Amazon affiliate links that are book images.
For some reason (even though my site is set to “full width”) I can only get about 4 images into one row.
Is there any way to make the page wider so it would include more images per row?
Here is the page, so you can see what I mean: https://askyoursoul.org/resources-books/
It’s password protected and the password is: books

I’m also not sure if you are the right person to ask about this, but just in case… When I was posting those Amazon links, WP only let me post it either in a text format or as an image, but not together 🙁 Do you know if this is a WordPress thing or if this can be changed within a theme?

      Thanks so much!!
      Olga

      Greetings!

For your second question, I’m not sure because I don’t know what you are exactly pasting in, but if WP is preventing you doing what you are trying to do, this might be something to ask the WP support forums at wordpress.org

As for your first question…this is a bit complicated because the first thing I would need to know is how are you getting that content in; is it a plugin or just copy and pasting in stuff?

The problem is that everything (headings, images) are separate from each other. To get a proper and consistent layout of books, you will need to do some custom styling HTML and CSS styles.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide customization support, but I was just doing a quick look in Google and there are WordPress plugins that are made for displaying books. You may want to consider using a plugin if you are not using one already? This could provide a far better method to manage your books.

One example that looks like from the screenshot does something similar to what you are wanting to do:
      https://wordpress.org/plugins/mooberry-book-manager/

But I would recommend going to the WP site and doing a search in the plugins area for “books” “Amazon books” etc. Try searching Google as well for WordPress books plugins too.

      Hi Andre,
I just wanted to say thanks so much for your help and suggestions! I have actually just been copy/pasting this stuff so I will definitely give that plug-in (and possibly others) a try to see if that makes a difference.
Also, I just wanted to let you know that for some reason I’ve been having a hard time trying to log in to this support site and it wouldn’t recognize my math answer (it kept saying “You failed to correctly answer the math problem.”) So I ended up leaving it blank and trying to log in again, after which it asked me a different question and I was finally able to log in. And yes, math was never my strong suit, but I’m pretty sure I answered that 8+1 question correctly ;)) so this may have been a bug of some sort.

      Cheers,
      O.

      Hi Olga,

You are very welcome, and also thank you as well.

Regarding the login issue and the math answer, I will follow up with Ramsey on this and see if he is aware of this happening. It could be a bug with one of the plugins he is using in this site, but we will look into this. However, if you experience this again, let us know as soon as you can and what we may end up doing is disabling the math question (which is a form of captcha).

      Hi Andre,
Sure thing! And I have just tried logging out and back in to see if this problem persists, but this time I wasn’t even asked that captcha question while logging in 🙂 (maybe you’ve temporarily disabled it already, but just wanted to give you a heads-up)
