I have the Simplified Pro theme and am liking it so far. I am really new to wordpress and its been years and years since I coded anything! I am having a problem that I can seem to figure out. In customizing the colors, I try to change the color of the widget title background but it stays black. help?

Do you have a link and access to where your website is? In the meantime, I will check this theme on the local test site. Just to confirm, you are trying to use the colour setting to change the background of widget titles?

and yes, changing the color on the widget title background (button) In the color settings it gives me the palette and allows the choice to be set but it doesn’t actually make the change. Every other color change I set is fine.

Ah, I found the problem. It appears I left out the part that adds the colour change to the widget title. I am working on a fix right now and will upload a new version of the theme shortly. I will let you know once I have done this by replying back to this topic.

Hi Roxanne,

I just uploaded version 1.0.2 of Simplified Pro with the fix to the widget title background issue. Basically, I did not add the setting to a stylesheet which applies the colour change. I also fixed the setting for the title colour as well. This only applies to the widgets that have the title background colour style.

Now that I uploaded version 1.0.2, and I see that your license key is active, you should get a notification that a Simplified Pro theme update is available. This will let you do the 1-click update.

If you run into any problems with this, please let us know as soon as you can.
